Folks, I ain't much to preach, but if you EVER listen to ANYTHING that I say, please pay attention to this.

I posted the other day that I had surgery on my "lower unit". EXTREMELY DELICATE AREA!! It started out as a routine repair of a rectal ulcer, but while he had me there, the surgeon went ahead and removed two "'roids", as well. Now, I'm a 50 year-old, bearded, pot-bellied-biker, been through 3 back surgeries, had a deviated septum repaired, lived through 3 motorcycle wrecks, including one when I T-boned a big doe while I was traveling 50MPH, and during my younger (Navy) days, I was bad to drink and fight. I've USUALLY got a pretty high threshold for pain.

BROTHERS AND SISTERS....I'VE NEVER KNOWN PAIN UNTIL NOW!!!!

Trust me here...take care of yourself. Start a regiment of bran...Metamucil, bran muffins, cereal...ANYTHING. It's a new part of my life starting Last Thursday.

On a good note, since the surgery, I haven't had a cigarette or cigar. Might as well get off them, since if I was to cough, I'd DIE!!! emoEek emoBawl

Glad to hear your off the smokes Danny. Sorry to hear you have been in so much pain, but keep your head up, and it will get better. emoThumbsup

Funny how tough times can change a persons view of enjoyment. Sorry for the pain but glad you are getting healthy. Now if I could get myself off the sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy and the COUCH!

Yes, that area is a bad one to have worked on. I hope that your problems are near an end. Look at it this way, if you can quit smoking now, think of all of the money you will save! If you smoke a pack a day and you quit you will save between $1,000 to $1,500 per year. That adds up pretty quickly to a big bunch of money. Congrats already on the huge savings and how much better you will feel without the "cancer sticks". Smoking also increases a person's risk of many types of cancers and other health problems. Hopefully they are gone for good!
