Does anyone no anything about the "sections" that you are supposdly drawn on within AEDC. So you have to hunt in the particular section and no where else?? I also heard that before you even go to the woods and hunt you have to check into that section?? I have a hunt this weekend and have no idea what to do.. I always go to my one spot and see deer, but now with this "section" thing I have no idea where to go..

Call twra if no one answers your question on here haven'tbeen there since they staerted this.

There are deer in every section. In your hunting manual there is a telephone number for the AEDC area manager. He should answer all your questions. He may even give you a hint where to go. Good luck and congrats for having the hunt.

1 & 2 are fairly restricted but 3 thru 6 are fairly open. There are instructions at the check station and either end of the access Hwy. 3 sign in places. Fill out a card and go hunting. They have maps at the sign in places.

There are 3 places you can check-in at. One at the entrance to sinking pond, one at the checking station, and one at the far end of the reserve close to the golf course. You can hunt in any of the areas on your permit. You fill out a check-in card and tear it in half. The first tells where you are hunting and your lic. # and date. Deposit it in the box. The other section is a survey, where you tell how long you hunted and how many deer you saw, how many you killed, and the size and sexes. You drop it in the box at the end of the day. These stations kind of remind you of the little sheds you see in state parks that show you maps or gives you information. You have to tell me now where the derr are!!!!!!!!!LOL emoUpsmile
