yea its pretty cool to aerial bowfish but i really hope those silvers dont get down here they are not good at all!!

I LOVE SHOOTING THE COMMONS AND GRASS CARP THOUGH!!

I have heard that the grass carps are sterile and can't reproduce, that all they can do is eat grass, I have a friend who had two for years in his pond and they kept it clean. I think the TWRA put these fish in the river/lakes for the sole purpose of eating the grass and cleaning the water. If this is true shouldn't they be left alone to do their job or is it ok to take them out?

I saw a report on tv about how these chinese silver carp have invaded the major river systems of the US and are causing serious problems. There have been a number of boaters injured by these goofy things. Can you imagine running 60 miles per hour and have one jump up and slam into your face or chest? I pray they never make it up to our area.

The ones that TVA stock are sterile but there are ones in the waters that are not and there are plenty of common carp to eat grass.... once the grass carp get so big they dont eat much at all and the more grass they do comsume the worse the bass fishing gets!!! Actually the TWRA promotes bowfishing highly!! Carp are BAD for the water systems unless kept under control and any tounys put on i do put a 1 grass carp limit so they dont get so scarce but TWRA stocks them regular so you dont have to worry with that!!
