O.k. I don't know if anyone remembers the Presidential debates? This reminds me of when McCain accused Obama of not having any experience in foriegn policy? Does anyone remember Obama's response?

I believe he said:  <font color="#cc0000">"That's going to change when I'm president, but we can't change it unless we fundamentally change Sen. McCain's and George Bush's foreign policy. It has not worked for America."</font></p>

<font color="#000000">Here's the link to the transcript of the Belmost University debate: </font></p>

.....maybe it's not troops we need to send but a specially wrapped care package....... </p>

In the same debate Obama also stated that: "We are going to have to deal with energy because we can't keep on borrowing from the Chinese and sending money to Saudi Arabia. We are mortgaging our children's future"..........like he cares about our childrens future.

Before you start running off about something you know nothing about. Why don't you call the state of Tennessee's Debt. of Education and find out how much he has already done for the schools, and where they would be without the stimulas money.

Under funded, under paid and hand cuffed by standerdized tests. Just like it always has been. Im sure it SAVED a bunch of jobs though! emoBang

I don't believe I was "running off about something running off about something " about anything. I was just quoting the man saying "we can't keep on borrowing from the Chinese". I really don't want my kids being slaves to the Chinese economy.

I don't think that will happen, but you never know. What you said though kind of makes since if you look at it in the context of "Are the Chinese kids slaves to our economy?"

Bush's policy to stabilize Iraq: troop surge
Obama's policy to stabilize Afghanistan: troop surge

Boy, he changed that policy.

McCain made the statement that Obama did not understand forieng policy. Obama, "John you are right, I do not understand foriegn policy. I don't understand how we go to war with the Taliban in Afganistan, and somehow get into another war in Iraq when we have unfinished business in Afghanistan. That is what I don't understand" He went on say as President he was going to increase troop numbers in Afghanistan, and focus on the Taliban. So, I think what we have now is Rebublican probably did not think he was serious, turned to Fox, even the set up man O'rielly didn't poke to many holes into the plan. What ticks me off is the Democrates, buckling to these hypocrite, polititians that all of the sudden want to put the brakes on because there guy, picked the wrong fight, and spent resourses that should have been used in Afghan region.. Yes, health care should be put on hold for now, and yes Obama should have done this sooner.

One good thing out of all this, Tennessee has Senator Corker on standby to watch over the Afganistan elections. The last one went good.

I thought we were going to war with Al Queda not the Taliban. Afghanistan is a hell hole by all accounts they are 100 years behind Iraq. I hate to say it but I dont think there is much hope for this nation and we should not be trying to rebuild it. The afghani's are going to have to bloom where they are planted. If you want more info go to Michael Yon online he is a free lance journalist and an ex Green Beret who has spent more time with our soldiers on the front lines than any other journalist in Iraq and Afghanistan. Every thing he wrote about or predicted came true in Iraq but his outlook for Afghanistan is much more grim.
