Went to our hunt camp near Skyline WMA in Jackson County Al this weekend. Three of the guys bow hunted and I decided to go back to my younger years pastime, squirrel hunting. I'm happy to report that the woods are full of grey squirrels in the northwest Alabama mountains. Killed 16 in three outings; more than enough to feed the camp a fried squirrel brunch. Great hunt, beautiful mountains and wonderful weather.
