Got out with Joe on May 14th and started out in very shallow water . Joe caught 1 on senko worm weightless the I caught one on magnum fluke weightless both about couple lbs. then I switched to my carolina rig w/black lizard and caught my 2nd fish @ 2 lbs Moved around a bit and Wham! caught my 9 lber up in grass in 3 ft of water W/ bloody tail . We stay in that area and i catch about 5 more in 2 lb range , then move around a bit and I catch my 4 lber all on black lizard c. rig by this time Joe is deciding he needs to tie on a black lizard and within a few minutes he catches his 2nd fish , move a bit more , still in 3 ft. of water and weeds and he catches his 9 lber ! Wow, what a day of fishing or I should say catching We could do no wrong as long as we stayed in 3 ft range and in the weeds and threw c. rig , black lizard . Will try to post pics. , but sometimes they come out upside down LOL
