got out with Joe yesterday around 9 am looked for baitfish didn't find any, so fished shallow with rattletraps , squarebills, chatterbaits, jerkbaits no takers so Joe puts on a green lizard texas rig and he catches a small lg, mouth keep moving around here and there still shallow i'm throwing a shakeyhead worm and hes still throwing lizard . He catches another small one , and we are just cruisin shallow and he catches another small one so ok I realize that ive got to put on a green lizard and then i catch my first fish , a small one cruise around some more and i catch another small one , and joe catches one about 3lbs still shallow and by this time was @5pm. so we come in . Water temps about 56-59 everywhere we fished and only bites came on a green lizard texas rig. Was a tough day but at least we caught a few little fat guys .

The lizard is on especially this time of year from what I understand from watching the pros & youtube bass fisherman they say that bass hate lizards because they try to eat their eggs! Thanks for the report!
