It's getting close to the shoots again. My girlfriend and I want to go to some turkey shoots this year. Where are some places that are not allowing Scoped Goose guns or modified sleeved barrels? A place where anyone can walk in and win with a regular goose gun or shotgun. Meaning bought as is, off the shelf or factory - no specialized super extra chokes or modified guns just for professional turkey shoots.

Thanks for the help.

Id love to come off with what you think is a smart a$$ remark Shark, but this hunting thig is serious stuff! ;)

Erik is right...Heath is your guy. PM him or maybe Erik will pass you his number. Good luck! Im wanting to take a turky too but these deer are priority right now. :)

Wrong sport Billy, a "shoot" doesnt involve turkeys unless they are already dead, wrapped up and frozen, given out as prizes. Although most now give out hams. So they are often called, "Ham shoots" now.

Yup...I read into that wrong but the one show I watched this past weekend involved 11 dead birds. That qualifies as a turkey shoot...or slaughter. :)

It's ok Bouy, no hard feelings from the last secret fishing hole post of mine. I honestly though I posted in here once last month. I didn't. My bad. It's the rowing club, and I had to get permission to fish there. I've heard through the grape vine that most shoots are allowing specialy modified guns. I was once offered $150 for my old rusted 20 guage barrell to be used in shoots. My friend was going to get it lined and re-blued. If no one knows what "Re Lined" means. They take the barrell and put a steel liner inside the barrell. He was going to use it professional shoots.
Spur, Thanks for the help, I'll contact Heath.
