how stupid is this guy. first he says it is harmless and then he says dont drink the water. if it is harmless then it should be safe. this guy is a moron

Yep, I've said it numerous times, Troy is an idiot, he speaks in circles and contradicts himself constantly. I spoke with him last year via PM and he finally quit responding when my comments made more sense than his bs lies.

Aqua Services is only doing what they are hired for and allowed to do. They are only following the new T.D.E.C. regulations for applying herbicides.

My concern is that Private Lakeshore owners and TVA are the ones being allowed to make the decision by our State to treat our water with herbicides and then not post warning signs in areas that these treatments have been done.

TVA and Private Lakeshore owner do not have the authority or right to regulate water pollution. It is the States responsibility to monitor and make decisions on the need for use of herbicides in our water system.

It is the State’s responsibility for deciding that treatments are needed and safe to do, based on water quality, use, and actual health of the water in these areas before allowing anyone to just dump herbicides in the water because it is considered unsightly.

Rivers that are navigable, for title purposes, are owned by the states, and "held in trust" for the public. It does not seem so in this case.

If this concerns you, please take the time to contact one of your State Representatives and express your concerns about the new T.D.E.C. permitting process.

I may be wrong , but I thought the property owners land ended at the waters edge . do they also own the water ? if so ,how far out into the lake does their property rights extend. if they have a right to kill aquatic plants because they don't like tha way they look , do they also have a right to dump their waste ? HOW FAR DO THEIR RIGHTS GO ON PROPERTY THEY DO NOT OWN ? whats next cutting down trees ?

Land owners property line on CBA lakes is the 690 line. Normal summer pool is around 682 to give you an idea. Anything below the 690 is heavily regulated by CBA. Anything done below the 690 has to have a specialized permit approved by CBA. That even includes touching vegetation. Building docks, rip rap walls, etc. The wife and I are buying lake front property on the chick right now and ill be damned if I cant take a fart on anything below the 690 without their permission.
