Another good turkey

I took Haylee & Hannah , my 2 little girls (11&10) , turkey hunting in Birchwood on Saturday. Saw 20 or so hens and 5 or 6 long beards . We had one hen get about 5 steps from us. Ended our hunt @7:20 in the morning with a single 3" #4 load of Hevi-shot. The bird was 21# on my home scales had thick 10 " beard & 1.25 spurs. They had a blast deer and turkey everywhere! So when is the TURKEY dinner?emoCool Maby I should take up turkey hunting. Sure can't seem to keep track of thess dadgum fish! Not Sat. anyhow.emoScratch Not bad @ it the other 6 days of the week. But come Sat. the wheels fall off.emoLaugh Good bird Zack. Maby we can go some next year.
