Thanks for creating the new forum David! I can see where it was time to combine and organize these types of posts, and look foward to seeing new posts from the likes of Madbomber, Carl guffy, and many others. I am 10 times smarter than I was just a few months ago about the needs of conservation in our rivers and lakes, and its all because of dedicated folks right here on CFF!

Thanks Guys - I have been meaning to create this area for quite some time. Over the past 2 years CFF has schooled me on this topic. I hope many other anglers have learned something as well!

I believe information posted on CFF can have a positive impact to area conservation by educating as many anglers as possible. There are some really great conservational posts with empirical data, regulations, highly educated opinions that had slipped into the pages of the archives. I just needed to spend some time to locate and consolidate them. I think increasing the visibility of these posts will have a greater educational impact and serve as a foundation for future posts of this nature.

It works more than you know David. I have read some of the older posts today...now that I can find them, and learned even more! Thanks again.
