Took the wife out for a nice evening on the water. No current so the bite was a bit slow. I did manage about 10 spots and 7 decent keepers. All on the Ol Pig'n'Jig

Got a few pics of 3 deer down there too. Diane thought they were so pretty...LOL. I thought..hmmmmmmmmmmm......BIG DINNER!

Anyways, MB. NO largemouth this trip and no Smallies. All spots 10" +

RE: Another River park

Started off at the barge tieups close to Suckcreek, then I moved to the bank you put me on. The only place I nailed any good amount of fish was right where the rocks come down in a slant solid postition. Its the spot right between 2 docks before it turns into the brick run and condos. The current was great there and sucked everywhere else. I went back 3 times and got 4 fish.

Where were you guys!? You should have called me.

RE: Another River park

We were around the corner fishing the laydowns on the point at the bend. We were going to hit the barge tie ups down your way but decided to hit the wood.

I knew Clint was going and was expecting to see MB out there too cause he aint posted anything this week. Yeah if we could have all meet up we could have had a little bragging rights dog fight. I will be out there Monday and Tuesday morning if i dont go the Chickamauga to pre-fish the Oct.28th tourny

Man, it sounds as if the River Park would be a great place to take a kid fishing. Is it that easy or are you guys just that good?

Its a great place to take a kid and ,YES, it is that easy

. You need to have some current flowing though. When the current isnt flowing, its a tough bite.

Fish the barge tieups and riprap, you'll have a blast and may even get a Big''en!

Both. There are TONS of spots down there. If you know which sections of banks hold them you can catch 15-20 spots per 3 hour trip easy. The only real skill part is finding out what they are eating that day. Yesterday was more of a shad pattern but most days are crawfish pattern. Saturday I may go float fish with some tuffies and shiners just to see what happerns.

emoScratch Does anybody work anymore? I probably saw you guys yesterday since I had a client take me to lunch at The Boathouse and I saw several boats. My client even asked me, "this is killing you, isn't it?" Sounds like a regular CFF reunion below the dam yesterday...

Glad somebody could get out and enjoy the beautiful day we had yesterday!

Listen veeery carefully! There are no fish below the dam. That is a vicious rumor being spread by agents of a foreign government. Stay above the dam! Don't be taken it by these rumors. Especially until I get over this virus I have right now!!. emoLaugh

Poor babyemoGrouphug I know how you feel. Me and MB was scheduled to go but he is a bit under the weather and needs to get to feeling better. But that's ok.. thar will be a next time....emoPoke

I'd love to have a dog fight one night down there. Talk about fun!

This Saturday I'll be trying to locate some fish for the Harrison Tx. Maybe we could try to find a date and do this???

Im in but it will have to be soon as winter is coming and once time changes evening fishing will be over for me. We could have a dogfight one weekend. Maybe only allow spots with a limit of 10 for two fishermen. Everyone could then have a spot dinner.

OK....how about Saturday the 21st? 3pm blast...7:30 weigh in?

Diane doesnt have that weekend off so I can't do the camping thing.

I would suggest that we do this one for bragging rights only and do a $10 ENTRY per person (sorta keeping this cheap) and donate it to David for site cost or future CCF gatherings....anyone?
