I have gotten a Confederate rifle in trade. it's stamped with "Fayetteville" the arsenal in NC and stamped 1863 CSA. It's a two band barrel straps. Does anyone know an appraiser that can help me ID this and put a value on it.
I talked with the historian at Chickamauga. He was very friendly and gave me several minutes of his time, but he doesn't do that. He did send me a booklet on proper care and maintenance of antique weapons. Nice guy!

I would like to know also. I've got a supposed, 17th Century English Coachman's blunderbuss. That's what I was told anywho? I'd love to have someone in the know tell me something about it.

I talked with the Civil War reenactors. They were very familiar with the Fayetteville arsenal but couldn't give a dollar value. Do a search on the interner and you should come up with some websites that could help.

Joke: I got a new shotgun for my wife.
Wish I could make a trade like that!
