Any Alarm System people here ?

I have an old alarm system at the shop .. dont know if or how it works .. I really could use a buddy to come by and look at to see it it does work .. so I can get it working .. and who has the lowest monitoring rates in the area .. PM alarms I used to do a lot of his computer work when I worked as a tech at North Gate Computers in Hixson .. dont know if same guy owns them ? He always told me he had the lowest monitoring rates around ??

I know I don't want ADT the are horrible with the contracts etc .. I don't want a contract if that is possible.
