I've spent alot of time up there, but not lately. If I were going, I would look to Indian, Mine Lick, and Holmes Creeks. Back in the day we used to fish the flooded willows with SBs, Flukes, and Jigs. The lake is not in the trees due to the work on the dam, but I would imagine the same baits would work. Dont turn your back on a spook or buzzbait bite if the water is warm and it is over cast. The water is very clear. Good luck and leave us a report!

Really appreciates it! I will add this to the "floating" worm advice a friend gave me if there is flooding. I do notice the water levels are above average even though they are trying to low pool it for the work on the seepage problem.

If you can catch the water coming up and with a lot of color you can parallel the bluff banks and throw a sb right up against the rocks and have very good success on the spots. They have some whopper spots at the hill. I like falling water river. You might find some color there. Like Churly said Mine Lick can be very good but it's going to be very clear. A buddy of mine is fishing the Bite there this week-end and he struggled there today. He is very good on Center Hill. He did catch some on a clown jerk-bait.

Try the mouth and lower portions of Falling Water River. If the stream flows have been good and the reservoir is up, you can fish Falling Water all the way to the base of Burgess Falls, but be careful, it gets shallow QUICK up there. Might also want to try the really long points around Edgar Evins State Park on the east side of the reservoir. Several of these go WAAAAAAAAAAY out before dropping off into the old river channel. If the reservoir is still fairly full, don't underestimate the backs of coves off the main river channel. As far as current fish catching patterns, I'm not sure, but these locations have been good for me in the past.

I might also add that if the rest of the lake is clear, Falling Water River usually a good place to find some color.
