Any Grass on Watts Bar?

Are there any areas on Watts Barr Lake that have milfoil or any kind of grass?

No milfoil. Only a few patches of hydrilla down on the lower end. No grass at all right now

A few years ago I found a six-inch piece of floating milfoil or hydrilla. I never found the source and have been looking since that time. It was within a mile of Half Moon Island. Perhaps it came off of some tugboat with barges or from some other vessel that came through Chickamauga.

The astec classic was won about 4 years ago on an isolated patch in whites creek

Been a few since I was down that way too, but there was a fair amount of grass around the Sand Island/Iron Hill area. Also hear that there is some in the Clinch arm above Kingston.

Yeah its all over Watts Bar. Comes right down to the waters edge emoPoke But seriously I've seen some up close to the Pole Cat area and around the Clinch/Emory arm but not any on the lower end. Hopefully it will migrate upriver from Chickamauga soon.
