ANY IDEAS FOR JUVENILE TURKEY HUNT ?

Looking for somewhere within 30 min of Ooltewah to take my son on the juvenile turkey hunt - any ideas ? Is the TVA land around Grasshopper Cr a decent spot for turkeys ?

Good luck...I have been looking for "the spot" for a loooong time. I drive hours away.

There are birds up there but most of that land is private around grasshopper. You just need to do some homework and find were the birds are between now and then. If i was betting...I'd say there is some good birds within 30 minutes. Most landowners are more willing to let you take a juvenile, so you might try door knocking in western bradley, eastern hamilton county. Good luck wish I could help!

PC is a little more than 30 miles, but sometimes hides some Nice gobblers.emoScratch Wish i could provide you with more info.I have plenty o' trouble finding a spot to hunt without Idiots running around everywhere.emoDoh

PC is one of my favorite holes to hunt. Just like anywhere you have to do your homework to find birds. Of the birds killed up ther last year, alot of them were taken around the burned area around Davis Pond. Do they have a Juvy hunt? If so, that would be a great place to go.
