ANY LUCK?

Has anyone had any luck so far this bow season? I had a big fat doe come to about 15 yrds opening morning. She got in behind a big oak and as I got ready for the shot when she stepped out I felt a breeze on the back of my neck emoBang emoBang and she caught my wind and blew out before I could get a shot emoBang . I haven't seen any since. Let's hear some stories good or bad.

I have been the last 2 weekends and no luck yet. But I did have a big red shouldered hawk land on a limb about 5 yards from me and just starred at me for about 30 seconds before it flew away last Saturday morning.

Thats pretty cool. emoToast . I had a red tailed hawk fly at me one time skeered the crap out uf me emoEek lol

Couple of years ago I was on Pigeon Mtn and a big owl landed just above my head. I love the way they turn their head all the way around. I thought this was neat until I realized of he tried to move on down and land on me I was gonna get ripped apart! I finally in a low voice told him I was not the tree and waved at him and he left. Awesome experience but the deer hunting sucked.
