Any recommendations on Black lites ?

Got a cheapie to try from Basspro , its ok , but looking to get something better .

I saw the moon lite brand at the store the other day with the 10 leds , really small

setup compared to the bigger / bulkier basspro "old fashion" tube light .

i have stan solan blacklites myself and they do a good job for me but if i fished alot at night i would have to go with the moonlite i fished with randy ownby (owener of fishtales) the other night and he had moodlite black lights and i really liked them plus the dont atract bugs like the sloans

Been checking out the Nucli-Eye Extreme

If your going to go , might as well make it easy on yourself . I would have

a hard time parting with $275 ( w/tax ) for one of these , but it says one is

more than enough and will also light the bank up . I saw some really bright

ones last night , you could see them from very far away !

ended up with a used sloans off of ebay for $36 bucks shipped and it has the piggy back light on it .

Decent buy I guess , I'll give it a try and if I don't like it , I'll stick it back on ebay .

Still may invest in a better LED one .

I've got the Nucli-Eye Extremes. I like them, good light in a very small package. Downside - price, but when you consider they are LEDs they are worthwhile by not having to replace tubes for the foreseeable future. Don't take up much storage space at all and they are very weather resistant.

Moonlight LED's are the only way to go. You can see the difference when your on the water and see someone with LED's and someone with a sloan light. Worth every pennie if your going to use them enough.

I'm with you bigfish, it's hard to let go of $150 for each one of these but well worth the money once you get out on the water and see the difference. You wouldn't think those little lights could be so bright but man they are bad news, I bought the moonlite fullmoons and they are the best I've ever owned
