Dude, Im telling ya right now.... this is the best squash casserole in the world - You need 6 or 7 squash, Cut into 1/8th inch slices---throw squash and 1/2 of yellow onion into pan with a little butter and cook till squash is almost soft. Drain the water out of the pan.The purpose of this is to get the excess water out of the squash so the casserole is not runny. Next take 1/2 pound of velvetta, About 2/3rds cup of sourcream, and 1 egg. Melt your cheese in microwave then add sourcream, beaten egg,and squash and mix it up. Pour the mixture into a baking dish. Next take about 4 slices of white bread and tear up in small peices, put the peices on top of the casserole evenly, then melt some butter and sprinkle onto bread. Cover and cook in oven at 350 for around 20 or 25 mins. Just untill the bread is golden brown like toast. Once you eat it this way you will never want to try another casserole!
