any suggestions on 200 optimax

Power trim will not trim up but when I swap the up relay to the down it will trim up but not down. I bought a new relay and still have the same problem.
has anyone ever had this problem or know what it could be please let me know thanks

They are wired to default to ground. Put the new relay on the DOWN side and it will work. It is not grounding but will switch to power . KINDA Complex but simple in how they are wired and work. Take a multimeter and chech for continuity from pins 30 to 87A. Should have continuity of less than 5.0 ohms. If not throw it away! If you can't figure it out give me a call. 423-304-0930. James

Glad ot have helped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Like I said it is COMPLEX but Simple. The first time I had to wire one from scratch I was like WTF. Pretty simple once I thiough about it. Relays are wired backward from how they are normally used to be able to reverse polaity. Just is actually the oposite relay then you would think it would have been. Later
