I am wanting to plant raspberries, blackberries, or strawberries or maybe all of them. They would just be for picking and eating at my house and maybe some for neighbors. Any advice?

As far as blackberries, I can tell you not to go with the Tame kind. The wild ones are good but the tame ones, while big and juicy, are bitter and not very enjoyable at all.

That is very interested. I had seen some thorn-less varieties and thought about getting them, but now I better look hard at it

Berrys are like a fine wine beetle. If you can find someone who already has plants established, and get a cutting from them, that would be great.Berrys are perrenials the more generation the plant can sustain the better fruit the plant will produce.I personally woud not recamend strawberrys for our climate zone. They seem to enjoy a little more water than we are used to seeing.Blackberrys and rasberrys are native to the east/south east u.s. so there should be no problem. When it comes to preference in taste of fruit, it all depends on what you enjoy.emoBigsmile
