We got a chocolate lab puppy two weeks ago. She is the best puppy we could have ever gotten but she is having some skin problems. She has about 30 boils that are crusted over and full of pus mainly on her back. Some of her litter mates also have a problem but I don't know if they are as bad. The breeders vet says its puppy pyro derma but the vet in soddy said it wasn't that but they didn't know what it was. She has been on antibiotics for a week and I don't think its any better. We need a vet that will have seen this before. Preferably in soddy area.

Thanks,

Lance

The best one I know of in the area and I have worked for several of them is Animal Clinic East on Gunbarrel Rd by hamilton place. They have 4 drs and all are great. My wife and a friend of ours work there now. Landon

Also a good ole time Vet no-nonsense on brainerd Road in front of big-lots helped us out and gave us a break at times,

Just for the info for anyone who might need it, if you need to get your dog or cat spade or newtered or however you spell it, there is a vet on dayton blvd that will do the procedure and give shots for about $40. All they do is cut the parts and give shots, so in this case they are not who you need to call. But for future reference to anyone in need. Forgot the name, can find out if you need.

dr walker in fort oglethorpe, sometimes he don't even charge!!! really!!! he has really strange hours. Tyler spoke of Wally's Friends. Really cheap for the spay/neuter 25-35$ if shots up to date

yea the guy in Ft-O used to see us at some weird hours when we had our pot-belly pig. she had some kind of a seizure one night and dad called the Vet at home. this was at 2am and he came down and opened his office to see us
