I caught 3 from the bank on friday in only an hour. I only fished an hour because I was wanting to try something and I had plans for the evening. The last time I went out on Lake Junior in my kayak I caught 26. The time before that I probably caught over 30, and maybe 20 little crappie. I fish with trout magnets and 2 lb test, I have also used 4 lb test with good results. What I was trying in that hour was figuring out a way to get the trout magnets out to the deep water from the bank.
I have 2 kayaks if anyone would like to go out there with me sometime. I usually go to Lake Junior on fridays because I go fishing on the river on weekends. I have fished there since they started stocking it and the only time I have had trouble catching them is toward the end when they are about to close it for the warm weather. I am unemployed right now so anytime on fridays is good for me. I plan on going friday unless the wind is bad. Kayaks and 2 lb test isn't very much fun in the wind...lol.
