Anyone ever catfish the lower Hiwassee?

Thinking about going Catfishing in the morning and trying to decide where to go? Thinking about trying the Hiwassee. Has anyone else been catching any up that way? Mainly 58 hwy.

Man, if you have a boat go try the Nuke. If you want eaters, they are there, if you want pole benders they are there, if you want trophys they are there!

 i have seen a few people catching cats along the bluff just down from the 58 bridge. not sure what size. i have also heard that around the old bridge pillings is good to try.  i havnt had the chance to try either for cats but its on my "to do" list

I've caught blue cats just downriver from the 58 bridge on the north side where the broken rock meets the channel bottom. Mostly 2 to 5 lbs on the bottom, best when there is current. Good luck!

Thanks for the replies. I think i will just go back to the Nuke. We will be out there in the morning in the Pontoon. Anyone else is out there come over and say Howdy!
