Just curious.

I hope to make the trek around Thanksgiving Holiday. I wondered if this type of fishing would be very good then.

Good looking jigs there, Pup. I don't know about the float and fly method right now. Probably better in really cold water would be my guess. At least that is when most guys do it I think. I am set up to do this, but just haven't gotten a round tuit yet. emoUpsmile emoGeezer

Thank you for the compliment, Drumking.

Yes, I realize that FNF fishing wouldn't be too popular now. Though, I had wondered if it would be any good around Thanksgiving Holiday. Too early?

I would be curious if it would be worth bring an FNF length rod, reel, and jigs down to Chickamauga Lake at that time, or not.

You must have read the same article that I did in this month issue of BASSMaster....I believe you could use this technique right now below the dam... either from the shore or boat. but it is better to use when it gets cold....FA BTW, really good lookin jigs....

I have used the FNF method for many years, starting in spring and going straight through the summer, and into the fall. It's one of the simplest methods to use and you basically let the fish tell you what they want. It's true, there are other methods right now that will produce more and better fish, but there are still going to be fish that are taken using this method.

I personally recommend finding the floats that have rattles in them. For whatever reason, I seem to have better success when using the ones with rattles as opposed to those without. There have been days, though, where the rattles were too much.

Those are some great looking jigs. :) Keep up the good work.
