Anyone fishing today on a boat or bank??

Hey fishing family, my wife and I are new to fishing and just looking for some buddies to show us the ropes. We are going to Chicamagua Dam to bank fish off hwy 153. I hope you guys have fun! I won’t be out there, but I’ve certainly enjoyed meeting other fishermen under the dam. It is my go to bank spot. I’ve been learning boat fishing so I’m not there as much.

Early morning and late evening are usually best. The water’s low and they haven’t been running the water, which lowers the oxygen. Both of those factors are negatives. Both that doesn’t mean you won’t catch fish. You have several different species and technique options in a quarter mile, which I really enjoy. Tight lines!
