I got a Bonus Buck on Prentice Cooper WMA early Rifle hunt. Nothing to brag about 120 lbs 5 or 6 points....depending on one tines length. Fat and looked like Tenderlions

This is in AR but a friend of mine son killed this nice eleven point this weekend. It is black powder season down there also. emoThumbsup

They r chasing hard up on the mountain! Saw over 30 deer but no shooters durring daylight. Had 2 bucks sparing and chasing for an hour after dark saturday night. Hated leave. Headed to kentucky for rifle this weekend.

It's definitely on right now seeing 50 plus a day. Our group has 2 pope and young deer down this week with more to come hopefully. Your hunt should be hitting it perfect.

I don't get to hunt with my dad very often, but he made the trip down to chattanooga for opening day of muzzleloader on the small piece of land i have to hunt in Ooltewah. We were mainly meat hunting! I probably seen 15 deer and my dad said he seen 8. He shot at about 915 and killed a small doe. I finally was offered a good shot on what I thought was a big doe. I drilled it at about 80 yards to find out it was a small spike. Oh well plenty of meat for the freezer now and it was the first time me and dad have ever doubled up. Can't wait to head up and hunt opening day of rifle with him in a couple of weeks.

I shot a huge doe yesterday evening . It dropped and flopped then quit .I thought it was down i waited about 20 mins in my stand got down as soon as i did it jumped and ran a little ways started staggering so i waited a little while longer .About dark I go try to find it the ground covered with blood everywhere .Had a good blood trail I looked and looked for it but never found it .I marked the last place i found blood cause I knew the rain was coming went back in today to try to find it with no luck.I hate not being able to find it .I hope it lived now that I didnt find it .But as much blood as it lost i very seriously doubt it could have lived.
