I may need to take my Kayak down for a weekend.

Long drive but looks fun.

I would ruin a good pair of underwear if that were me. My buddy kayak fishes in the bays in Miami for tarpon and snook and he says he sees gators all the time. I told him he was crazy. I have had a couple run ins with snakes and beavers here on Chickamauga but nothing where I had to actually defend myself. They seem like they are coming after me and when they disappear under water I get out. Haha.

If you guys really want some fun in a kayak then you should hit those stripers when they start running up the river to the Appalachia dam. My buddy has caught a few in the 40lb range in sit on top kayak's using topwater baits. He describes it as an epic experience!
