Are there any open bass tournaments on chickamauga this weekend?

My girlfriend decided she wanted to see what all the talk is about and fish her first tournament with me this weekend. I already got her TN fishing license so I just need to find a tourney. Are there any others going on besides the heartland tournament this Saturday? I'm just wanting to look at my options.

Thanks in advance for any opinions.

She is really excited! I'll even look at Guntersville if there are any good ones there.

CBA this Sunday. Get signed up and join in.

CBA is a great option. You can sign up this week at local tackle stores. They pay $2k for the win and a place for every five entries which means about 20 places paid out including 2 big fish prizes.

Updated: I found a tournament I can fish on Saturday. The Shriners are having their annual tournament out of Chester frost park.

Because the Shriners scheduled theirs for Saturday so Shane moved the May CBA to Sunday.

Everyone has chimed in about the CBA which is a great option if you are wanting to fish on Saturday their is the Shriner's and then their is also the Madisonville Marine tournament out of Dayton that is $10,000 guaranteed for 1st place.

it is the Morristown marine tx I talked to the guy this morning and he said they would have 250 boats plus. I think he told me they already had 250 paid boats and was expecting more. the lake will be busy this weekend everyone be careful.

You may be able to sign up any time this week at the temple, provided someone is there (just call and ask). I know in years past they have had a dinner the Friday night before where you can sign up and they will go over the rules/logistics.
