AREA GOLF COURSES

OK Guys, SNOW IS ON THE GROUND in Kentucky BUT WILL BE @ CHICKAMAUGA LAKE IN APRIL WITH SOME FRIENDS WHO LIKE TO FISH AND GOLF. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW SOME OF THE LOCAL COURSES WE SHOULD PLAY WHILE VISITING. emoBeer emoGrouphug THANKS IN ADVANCE

Bear Trace at Harrison Bay for sure

There are a bunch around here. Bear Trace as mentioned. But there is Brown Acres, it will be about the cheapest. Owned by the City but not a bad course. My favorite is Eagle Bluff but it is a very hilly course so walking is out. You also have the Champions Club, it is not bad either, the front nine is mostly short drives with the back nine some you can let loose on. Then there is the Honors, however it is very expensive. emoThumbsup Jmax

You can throw valleybrook in there. Nice course for the price. I think greens fee with a cart is around 40 bucks

Bear trace at Harrison bay is head and shoulders above champions club, brown acres, or brainerd.
I'd go bear trace, valley brook, and then creeks bend, moccasin bend, brown acres, and brainerd.

Canyon Ridge on top of lookout mtn is a nice course too.

Eagle Bluff and Bear trace will be the closest to Chickamauga lake for sure. Bear trace has several holes right on the lake.
