When I was 13 years old, I killed a deer with a bow - a very rare feat for a kid in those days. I got my picture on the front page of the Chattanooga Times Sports page. I was living a dream, and continue to relive it 47 years later.

Today I am very proud for Robert Goodner and his grandfather, Scott Thomas (CFF's hookset). They're both living that dream after Robert's "Hunt of a Lifetime." I hope you'll enjoy, and share their story.

I want to thank Richard for sharing our adventure. I also thank Wes for taking the time to help Robert's dream become a reality.
I could not be more proud of Robert. He has not only given me a remarkable memory that I will relive everyday the rest of my life but he has shown me that he is becoming a man. He proved he could be cool and level headed to get the job done making split second decisions that resulted in his trophy of a lifetime. Plus, that elk is really tasty.
Thanks to all for the kind words. I hope everyone has a great day!
