What a slow morning for us. Our first stop back in Waconda Bay was a wind whipped waste of time. Actually, until around 11:30 or so when the sun started showing up and the wind was more manageable, we started catching fish.

Shorts to start out then Alan lost one 3 or better but after moving to another 4-5 foot deep flat that had grass and we had two keepers in the box. He lost another good keeper (amazing how a fish can shed a bait even with six barbed hooks and a tight line in their face) it was still a great day to enjoy all that we have offered to us. All fish were caught on square bills in char/black back/red gill line. Water temps in the low 70's Ended up with 7.27 and two fish.

Again, congrats to the money winners and to the committee for all their hard work See ya at the next one.
