Boy, hate to see the first game they have to play is against Auburn. emoBang Auburn is ranked here at the start as the sixth best team in the nation. I am not expecting much but I hope they can pull a rabbit out of the hat and be a Cinderella team here on their very first game. emoRolleyes May be another long season.

GO HOGS! BEAT ANYBODY!!!

WOOOOOOO! PIG! SUEIIII! RAZORBACKS! emoBigsmile Jmax

Arkansas typically plays Auburn pretty well for three quarters. If they can last into the fourth it might be interesting.

Dang IT!!!!! I hope this year that is not a sign of things to come. They only played the first half and then rolled over. emoBang Did not even get the normal three quarters from them. emoDoh Jmax

Looks like the difference came when they brought in Nick Marshall. I didn't think he would play the first game or maybe the next couple. Georgia struggled against Clemson the same way then rolled on to beat them with the same score.

Marshall had nothing to do with Arkansas's offense rolling over. They got away from the running game and could not hold on to the ball in passing plays. emoBang With an average front line of over 320 lbs on the offense Allen should have had all kinds of time to throw the ball but on the second half they just seemed to stop trying. emoScratch Either that or those big boys are not in the best of condition to play four quarters. The first half they were blowing holes in the Auburn defense you could have drove a truck throw. The second half they were letting the Auburn defense beat threw them. Typical Arkansas Razorback game against a highly ranked team. emoMad Jmax

Definitely noticed the weakness in our defense, it has not been Auburn's strong point for years except for a few key players. The team just seemed to rally together better under Nick.

I noticed that same thing with Georgia's defense during that long rain delay.

Best team that I have seen this weekend so far is Texas A&M. Georgia a close second. Miss State looks pretty good. Alabama didn't look good to me at all. LSU is resilient. South Carolina just got their butts handed to them. Not ready to play. Auburn is good, but can be beat. Vandy returned to being Vandy. Tee Hee. Florida rained out. I didn't see any of the Mizzou game, so I will withhold judgment on them. Arkansas got gassed. Big old fat boys need to get in shape. Kentucky looked good, but wasn't playing a strong team. If Ole Miss is going to play Bo Wallace all year, get ready for some heartbreak. I guess that we will find out about Tennessee in about 10 more hours. emoBigsmile emoGeezer

Agree with you DK. My Ga. dawgs looked pretty good but weak on defending the deep ball. Looks like A&M might be for real. Will take another game or two to really tell.

If they hadn't let the MEDIA fire Petrino you would be competing for champonships! If a coach can go somewhere else and coach then why fire him? That should have been between him and his wife!
