Virginia just ruled new Obama's health care unconstitutional. So, by requiring me to have auto insurance, child seat, wearing seat belt, must be unconstitutional as well, right?

You are one strange animal there, possum..............
Our constitution (as interpreted by the FEDERAL ruling above) CAN force you to have or do certain things in order to enjoy certain privileges, such as driving - no problem as far as I'm concerned. However, requiring you to purchase something simply because you exist is what the court ruling is about, and is, in my opinion, the correct constitutional law. Eventually, we will hear what the Supreme Court has to say on the subject, and I sincerely hope that it is based on the constitution and not on anyone's political platforms.
Of course, now I expect to hear that you think that I drink the kool-aid and am a puppet for the corporations and, let's see, what else??, oh yea I almost forgot yellow journalism - since I don't see many political ideologies or parties the same way you do. Then again, I'm not too thrilled when I see someone gratuitously referred to as a demonrat either.

Your talking Federal law vs State law. There is no Federal law that mandates car ins. Seat belts, etc.

If it is a law either state or federal, it has to fall under the constitution. States just can't make stuff up. What this smells like though is eventually people are going to die on the streets in front of hospitals.
