Too much money for me to invest when only 5 boats show, I would assume that's a bunch of people thoughts.

What kind of payout is there? How many boats attend? I'm not scared to fish any tournament, but 5 boats is not really a tournament...

Thought hard about fishing it. Looked at their website. Basically, the first one you fish costs $180 bucks. Only $70 dollars of that goes into the tournament payout. $80 for you and partner's membership fees and $30 to the classic. It just seems a little lop-sided to me. Definately not worth it to me when only 5-10 boats show up. However, congrats to the winners. They had some nice bags.

its pretty much the same as the cba >i just wish more boats would show where the payout would be really good!!!!!u know only with 4 boats payout at 400 so 8 boats payout would be around 800 just think if 20 boats showed payout would be around 2000 thats a good payout its better than a small entery fee isnt it????????????

I'm not trying to knock your tournament at all but I dont remember it ever being advertised much, also there are so many clubs and tournaments around here its hard to get good participation in new clubs and txs...best of luck to you guys.

Exactly.........instead of having 10 different Txs with 10 boats it makes more sense to have 1 Tx with 100 boats.....my .02

emoAngler thats what they are try to do is get something else like the cba going !!!iam not over it at all iam just fishing it !!!!if the boats would show payout would be good !!!!!ever body is talking that it isnt but we won the first one and got 400 thats really great with only 4 boats just think about 20 or30 boats !!!!!!! i fish alot of small tournments and pay out isnt nowhere nere this !!!! mabye everybody will try this trail for a year and give it a chance ????they got some good directors over it now mabye it do good so they want give up on it

We did think about fishing it but decided not to Friday night.

1. The membership of $35 or $40 each
2. We werent going to fish enough of them to qualify for the classic
3. The classic is on Wheeler (more $ for AL license)
4. 70% payback, 15% to classic, 15% to the directors

Just wasnt worth the cost to fish one or two of them. I'm sure it's a good trail to fish, we just decided it wasnt for us.

This is posted on their website.....

Good point, I've never read much publicity on these TX. I personally don't research every club's site, but would be interested in some others than CFF.
But if I don't get much info on them here, I don't really know about them.

My partner can catch fish!
