procraft - 4/21/2008 1:08 AM when the boys make the bed what do the girls do and wher do they hide what do they eat why cant i find them

they move up in shallow water just like the males do. They are still eating and getting ready for the big wedding day. they begin to find their husbands (or what ever you want to call them)..they wait till the beds are made and then like all females they put the finishing touches on the bed....that is why you catch the females and their tails are bloody. Oh, by the way, from what I have heard from your friends you just can't catchum anyhoooo. FA you know I'm just kidding on the catching stuff.

There are fish that have already spawned, fish spawning now, and fish that are moving up to spawn. Find and fish docks close to shallow spawning areas. Bass use them to stage before and rest after the spawn. Fish main lake points with deep cranks and C-rigs.

good advice pointer and fa,and to add on what i think i know.the females will stage in deeper areas say 10-12ft while the males are making the beds and than move up to do there job when its time,so if your catching buck bass up shallow looking for a place you should be able to move out into a deeper water close by and catch some of the females, but they will usually be stacked up in areas close to a spawning area so you will have to move around until you find that sweatspot, and once the bass layout you should be able to catch them in the same staging areas feeding up till they move out to there summer areas.but once the bass or in the spawning mood they can be very diificult to catch.
