we ran up river to our first spot and had 2 in the boat in the first 30 min.fished around the grass bed for the next 1 hour with nothing .Started working our wayback down river caught a few more short fish.about noon we went to a place that i have not fished in 20yrs.and we cauht 5 there including our to 2 biggest fish.made the long ruff ride back.we tied for 3rd with 8.66lb.we caught our fish in less than 5ft of water on worms and bladed jig.
