Baby Dylan wasn't suppose to arrive in this rough world until Feb. 22nd. Due to Stephanie being in labor for over 12 hours and ending up having a C-section with our first "Ashley Lynn" we had pretty much set the arrival date for Dylan to be Feb. 17th or 18th!

Stephanie (my wife) has had a few complications and actually started having contractions two weeks ago. The doctors were able to get the contractions to stop and all has been well the last two weeks. Since all was well, I decided to go wet a line this past Saturday Morning. I met a co-worker at Scull Island at 7am with light sprinkles and a stiff wind. It wasn't an ideal situation but I was determined to catch a couple limits of Crappie and put Bryan on some nice slabs.

We made the run down to Sequoyah and started off on a dock at about 7:15am. Breeze blowing in and a little tough to stay in position but the fish were hungry and once situated we were putting fish in the cooler.

At 7:34 my phone rang........and plans drastically changed. Stephanie was hysterical and thought her water had broken.

Needless to say....the 11 or so keepers we had in the cooler were dumped and off we went.

Steph's friend drove her to Women’s East and I made it to the hospital to meet them at 8:14 (almost beat her there)!

AT 10:08 The Lord blessed us with the early arrival of Dylan Uriah Villers .... and weighedin at 6lb's 10 oz with a length of 19inches!

It has been a wonderful week!!emoDance emoSun

Thanks Joe!
I thought Billy would get the first punch in though! I guarantee he was thinking about it, especially after seeing Dylan in "my car seat" while in the boat!!!

Congratulations. But I have to ask, where does the "Uriah" name come from? Its not exactly a common name unless its from Creek decent. I ask because I am from Uriah, Alabama.

Congrats Jason, looks like a brand new crappie slayer right there. I bet he can catch a limit of keepers before he is 10.
Did you get his name from Uriah the Hittite? Awesome name.
