After a long stint of being boatless, I have finally got back in action with a new 2007 Stratos (can't believe the wife let me do it). Know onto the important parts. Fished out of riverpark on Saturday afternoon, did more running than fishing do to the break-in period. We had a couple of decent fish for the short time. We did not catch numbers, but only caught 3 fish. (3.8 lb spot, 4.5 lb spot, and 4.8 lb spot). All three fish was caught on cranks in 10 feet of water on drops.

Fish G-ville Sunday afternoon with the terrible winds. Managed to catch a few small fish, but nothing impressive. I believe the front and wind had them messed up. Fish were not working at all. Maybe they will get consistent soon.

Caught a few late last summer, I guess the best was about 4 lbs. I still think it may be effective, just very tiring. What I use is for is to drop a 3 oz. weight through the mat. Think drop-shot.
forgot the camera on Sat. sorry no pics of the spots.

That sounds like some good spots. Most of the fish that I have heard about were LMs coming from G'ville. Were you fishing back in the creeks or the main lake? I would expect main lake or creek channel with all the spots but I was just wondering.
