Reminds me of two things - growing up when I stepped on a nail we would put a penny on it then a strip of fatback then bandage it. Supposed to pull the poision out. Anybody else ever do that?

Also, had a poster in my dorm room of two pigs mating with the caption "Makin' Bacon" - the way I say it, it rhymes!
