This was my first time fishing this tournament, I was really suprised that there was only 13 boats, i guess everyone was deer hunting. I was also impressed with how Darren took the time to address everyone on the importance of safety and how to use your own judgement on how to deal with the fog that morning. He seems to have a good grasp of how a tournament should be run, and he seems to be a super nice guy to talk to. I think this tournament trail would really take off if he could just get some support from our local anglers, Even though we had a tough time catching any fish I'm looking forward to the next one. I'm usually deer hunting this time of year but fishing these tournament can only make me a better all around fisherman. So here is a BIG THANKS to Darren and A BIG CONGRATS to Tony and Galen man these guys sure can catch'em. and hope to see more boats for the next one.
