Here's a great recipe that came out of my grandmother's church cookbook. My aunt and mother began making it and I gave it a whirl. It's easy and oh so delicious!!
1 - 20 oz. can of pineapple chunks (use the kind in packed in syrup)
1/2 cup sugar
3 T. flour
1 cup shredded cheeze (any kind, but the three cheese type works best for me)
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup melted margerine or butter
Drain the pineapple and reserve the liquid. Stir together the sugar and flour in an appropriate sized baking dish. Stir in 6 tablespoons of reserved pineapple syrup. Add the pineapple and cheeze.
Moisten the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter and sprinkle on top of the mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
This dish will make your tongue slap your brains out. Its almost a desert!
