Banjo Minnow

Before I order the Banjo Minnow, can anyone tell me if it is any good, does it work well, or does it work some of the time. Now seeing Babe Winkleman endorse it is pretty good to me. Just was looking for some advice. Thanks

I had a pack a looooong time ago when they first came out. I hate to admit it, but I caught some pretty good fish on them, including a 9 pounder in Florida. One word of advice: If you get a set, put all the components in a good tackle tray. The 3rd or 4th time I went fishing with with them the cheap tray they come with popped open and I knocked it over, never to see many of the pieces again...

Man.... think about it. Babe is endorsing it for he gets his mug on tv ALOT, yes - M O N E Y!, his show is hitting the home stretch and he wants to be included in something BIG. And in his eyes Banjo is BIG.
For what it's worth, my oldest son's best friend got a pack of these as a gag gift for his birthday. We took him up to the cabin in Minnesota and we caught a crap load of fish with it. It works, but just as well as a lot of "new" baits that come out. Something they haven't seen before works just as well in my opinion. Just as one day a guy in the front of the boat is throwing a pumpkin colored worm and slaying them as another sits in the back of the boat with a purple worm and can't buy a bite.

pretty much a ditto w/ the other two guys. my grandpa had a couple from a pack he ordered long ago. i used them till they fell off the hook in a creek down here. they worked well, but i really think it was mostly the fact that the fish had never seen them before. one plus is that they are easy and fun to use. my advice is buy them if you just are bored w/ what youre fishing w/ now.

My brother bought a pack last summer. I have always caught lots of fish with them no matter where I was. They've outfished live bait in ponds and on the river. Caught several fish over 3 pounds on the chick and hiwassee. Killed with them at a privete pond. They might appear to be just another hoax, but believe everything you hear cause they work.

Nose hook a Case SuperSaltShad or Zoom SuperFluke or Sluggo, and you will have pretty much the same thing.
