I hooked into my first chattanooga cat tonight. I was bank fishing by a barge tie off, I think that is what that is. It seemed like a nice fish, probably a blue, must have not had the circle in him very well. Anyway, I was fishing with a skipjack head and it had the adrenaline going pretty nice. I think I saw some people on the chickamauga side of the dam fishing. Is that a decent spot? I really have no clue what I'm doing. I'll probably fish a little at the dam this weekend, I just hate contending with the massive current there.

Hope everyone is having a nice week,

Sam

Wish you would of landed the fish Sam... sounds like a good start to alot of fishing in the Nooga area for you.

The Chickamauga side of the dam is a great spot. We have caught fish all over the place up there. There are some humps right in front of the dam and along the lock wall. Just fish within casting distance of the dam or lock and you should catch all the blues you need. We haven't caught any big fish there but there are lots of 6 to 10 pounders.

Cheez,

Thanks a lot for the advice. It's only a matter of time before I get a boat. Thanks a lot to those of you who have offered to take me out in a boat.

Sam
