taking the son camping and fishing there this weekend never really fished much here especially from the bank if any one could recommend a few good bank spots It would be appreciated..We will probably fish for whatever we can catch using minnows and worms.. Might throw a little artificial for some bass but really just wanna catch some #'s so the son has a good time. We will probably be fishing from about 4 to midnight saturday then again early Saturday morning.. any advice be greatly appreciated..

well 2 weeks ago i was there for a b-day party and i was throwing a watermelon colored lizard and was tearing up the bass right there next to the swimming area. that was the only place i fished that day but im sure it would have worked in other places around there that day.

There is a fishing pier close to the ramp...lots of brush under and around it....good place to fish...also, over around the camping area you can fish from the bank .....have fun....FA

if you fishing late try throwing some night crawlers anywhere in the lake for some small 2-5lb channel ctas, they tear up those night crawlers at night...kiddo should love it.

If you're going to camp in the park camping area try the point at the very end of the campground. There are some deep water rocks off that point that should be good.......Hal

Was camping there for three weeks back in july and if you walk all the way to the end on the road past the playground there are several trees in the water and we tore up the bream with crickets and worms enough room to walk the bank and try several spots, good luck emoThumbsup emoThumbsup

ended up camping on the main river .. Caught about 10 nice cats 1 about 10 lbs on a brim we hooked through the back. Caught 2 on hotdogs and the rest on nightcrawlers and minnows. Also caught a handful of brim and a few tiny tiny bass. We tried the fishing pier Saturday night with no luck did catch one stripped bass was small but feisty
