Bank fishing below the Chick. dam... 3/14/2007

Well I decided to try out my new rod and reel (pflueger summit and 7' med crankin stick) . Didn't get a bite on the new setup,but did catch 3 nice fish. Caught all three on my bass pro shops jerkbait (green shad). Caught 2 largemouths (1.5 and 3 lbs) and a very fat and large white bass that almost jerked the rod out of my hands when she hit!! All in all a pretty nice evening. I went looking for the big stripe,but they are still not around yet.

Good looking fish. Hopefully I'll make my way down there again sometime soon. Will be gone fishing in Michigan and Ohio in a few days though.
