Subject pretty much says it all. I'm looking for some good places to take my 5 yr-old fishing with me. We usually go to a pond a family member owns, but it "crashed" last year from lack of oxygen ( stupid drought ). I really don't care what species we catch, but I would prefer the chance to catch some larger game for myself ;). Proximity to Cleveland would also be a plus.

Thanks ahead of time.

Have you tried out Highway 60 near Blyths ferry Where the old ferry use to take people across the Tennessee river? You should be able to catch brim and some decent cats.emoFish emoFish

don't really know a whole lot about the cleveland area but if you don't mind driving aways. I would try anything behind the Aquarium\Coolidge Park area in Downtown Chattanooga. I catch really nice spotted bass there as well a crappie and bream for the little guy. hope this helps! Good luck!emoAngler

It is a little further than I wanted to drive, but I will keep that in mind. Would be good for a weekend day where I have all day. I was hoping to find a place I can do during the week that doesn't require too much driving.

Thanks for the location.

I hadn't thought about the downtown area. I had thought about right behind Chatt. State. I will also keep that in mind. Thank you

along the green way creek walk in cleveland (mouse creek) in particular from 25th st behind the krystal down to raider
drive there are several decent holes with lots of bluegill, redeye bass, and some small crappie.
if you are down there around lunch time and see a guy in an AT&T shirt that would be me emoBigsmile

CBryant, if Harrison Bay isn't too far PM me & I can give you a wonderful spot for both good cats bluegill & bass.
