Bass Lower Chick 04-02-06

Hey all .. went out in the boat today .. fished from 2-5:30pm.. launched at chick dam boat ramp, fished my way up to the Coast Guard station, then crossed the lake, and fished the marina bays. First cast caught a 13" spot, 3 rd cast caught his twin brother, then proceded to catch 7 more spots in the 12-14 inch range untill I got to C.G. station, picked up 2 Largemouth there both 15-16 inches. Crossed the lake .. fished the marina bays .. picked up one about 3lbs Largemouth on the 4th cast.. 8th cast later, picked up a 16inch largemouth. caught 4 more in the 12-14inch range, I moved out to the main channel just out side the marina bay and caught 2 more one 16 and one 17. Great afternoon ! caught all of them on one of my custom made crank baits , and all where in 8 -14 feet of water</p>

Thats a good report thanks for the info. I work just south of the Amnicola Exit. Might have to go up there after work one day this week.

Went straight from church .. well after eating with family to the lake. am I supposed to where it every time .. I guess that shirt is my trade mark now huh

Great report, NRG. Hey, are you still smoke-free? It's amazing how many more casts you have time for when you're not screwing around trying to light one up.

Noo Im not still smoke free.. wish I was .. Im going to try Memorial Hospital Breath Easy program.. maybe hypnosis, or that laser deal I heard about .. any way Im still smoking made it about 4 days .. the 4th day was harder than the first .. I couldnt take it anymore

The fish actually compliments your church outfit!!! HAHAHAHA .. nice bass. Interesting lure ... lime green! HUM.

Glad you had a good day on the water .. I didn't go Sunday but I'm sure there will be plenty of fish to catch later this week if you keep that magic lure outta the water for a few days!!!

BTW ... about the smoking ... 3 days is a start ... next time you decide to quit you can do it knowing that your first 3 days is no problem and worry about the 4th instead.
