Okay the decision has been made. I am selling all of my bass fishing gear and just giving it up entirely. I will remain a crappie fisherman as long as I have my boat but I am trying to sell it as well. What that means for you guys is that you are about to have a very very good deal laid out before you for some tackle. I only fished with crankbaits and soft plastics, so that's all I have to get rid of. I have already sold my rods/reels.

So that said, I gathered everything I had and took a few pictures of it, and tried to list everything. I tried to keep everything organized in my soft plastics. What I did was take those big freezer storage bags and put all the individual bags in there, according to size and such. So for example, I have the "finesse bag" which has just the 4 and 5 inch style soft plastics in it. I went through it all and wrote down the brand, model, and color for ya to make it easy. So here goes:

Finesse Bag: $20

Berkley Shaky Worms, 5" "The Generl" color
Zoom Centepede - Watermelon Candy & Purple Glitter
Zoom Shaky Tail - Watermelon Red & Watermelon Seed
Zoom Finesse - Bullfrog
Zoom Trickworms - Black
Zoom 4" Deadringer - Black/Chart
Zoom Z-Nail - Watermelon Red
Dropshot worms - Red Shad

--------------------------------------------

10-11 Inch Monster Worm Bag -- $10

Zoom Monster - Black Grape
Zoom G-Tail - Red Shad
Zoom Monsters - Tequila Sunrise
Berkley Powerworm 10" - Watermelon Chart, Black Grape, Moccasin

----------------------------------------------

7" Bulk Bag of Berkley Powerworms -- Red Shad -- $10

Also, one box of the hooks, sinkers, and such to go with all this stuff. Lots of stuff in this box. Box and all -- $10

----------------------------------------------

Crankbait Box: $25

To keep from listing every color...which I don't know what most of them are by the real names...I'll just show the picture of them. The whole box consists of DD22s, DD14s, Deep Little Ns, a Rapala DT 10, and a couple of Fat Free Shads. This includes the box too.

-----------------------------------------------

$75 for everything. I hope one person would want it all. It is a very good deal for a whole tackle store worth of stuff.

I'm slow to respond to emails but I'll try to get on the computer more often. If you want to call, my home # is:

423-507-9752

I don't have a computer at home so I have to borrow one with internet....so that means I'm not at home right now. I have an answering machine though, so if you're interested in something you can email me or just give me a shout.

I will NOT bust up the bags by specific worms. If the whole lot doesn't sell for the $75 I will sale each bag individually if it comes to that. Prices will be as listed above.

PM me details on how to pay and receive.</p>

Sent you a PM BBass. I wasn't sure if you were wanting the whole thing or an individual item. I wont be back on a computer tonight so if you're in a hurry to get the stuff you could gimme a holler later tonight on the phone (number listed above). I can either ship the stuff or if not too far, meet you half way or something.

It's just like Tony Dungy possibly retiring...............they have other interests that they want to pursue. Perhaps financial matters are making it difficult to fish, etc. Just as long as he stays on here and remains active, that's all that matters.

If I had the $75 to spend, I would buy the whole lot. I especially like that DD-22.

Okay guys, I have sold everything except the big bag of the 10 & 11 inch worms. Thanks to all that responded and called. It seems the crankbaits were the most popular; I had more people call and email about those than any of the other things.

I have a list of those interested in them...getting ready to see for sure who is gonna take them but as much interest as there was in them, I am just counting them as gone to somebody.

Bass fishing is okay...I just thought I was going to be the next KVD and go hit these local tourneys and nobody be able to touch me. I mean heck, how hard IS it to catch a limit of 15" fish. After a whole season of fishing tourneys and weighing in 3 times and only coming close to the money once (and NEVER in it)...I decided tourney fishing wasn't for me. And somewhere in there, it took the fun out of bass fishing for me. My wife and I went crappie fishing quite a bit and have more fun doing that than ANY time we've been bass fishing together. What's more...well everybody knows that person that gets head over heels into a hobby for a little while and then a year or two later they do it over again with something else. I am that guy. I've gotten back into something I left a few years ago: Civil War relic hunting. And in a few months I'll probably be back into gold panning. Then deer hunting. Then fishing will come in again later on I'm sure. LOL. One thing is for sure...everybody sure likes it when I do get out of something. They love these blow outs.

Sent a couple of PMs to some of you guys a few days ago and haven't heard anything back from you. If you laid claims on something for sale and backed out, you need to let me know so I can quit holding it for you and sell it to someone who wants it.

If I don't get a reply after today from the PMs I sent, all I will have left are the crankbaits. I had a fella from work say he wanted all the soft plastics and hooks/sinker box. So I really need to hear something from you guys that staked claims on them to see if you're taking them or not. Like I said, if ya decided not to get them it's okay...they are spoken for.
